August, 2013Ralph Pelaia handled the Longview "Good Samaritan" death case. A young man on his way to work stopped to give aide to a DPS officer whose vehicle had wrecked. The young man was struck and killed by a rail road vehicle with defective brakes.
Mr. Pelaia also handled the tragic death of a eight-month-old little girl and her grandfather, both killed as a result of an inattentive driver.
Ralph Pelaia has been voted the "Best attorney in East Texas" by the readers of the Longview New-Journal in the annual "Best of East Texas" awards.
In 2013 Ralph Pelaia was named for membership in the "The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100" an invitation-only organization composed of premier trial lawyers from each state in the nation who meet stringent qualification as civil Plaintiff trial lawyers.

January, 2010 - Million Dollar Advocates Forum MembershipPelaia Law Center is pleased to announce that Ralph F. Pelaia, Jr. has been certified as a life member of both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
The Million Dollar Advocates forum is recognized as one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States. Membership is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts, awards and settlements. The organization was founded in 1993 and there are approximately 3,000 members located throughout the country. Fewer than 1% of U.S. lawyers are members. Forum membership acknowledges excellence in advocacy, and provides members with a national network of experienced colleagues for professional referral and information exchange in major cases. Members of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum must have acted as principal counsel in at least one case in which their client has received a verdict, award or settlement in the amount of one million dollars or more.
